"Comfortable nicely set up cabin. The View is spectacular- in all weather. Really convenient to the airport (very few planes so it’s quiet!) and to three villages for groceries. Epic hikes."
"Absolutely nothing."
"Wonderful stay at The View which lives up to its name! The cabin was cozy and fully stocked. Waking up and seeing the landscape out the front door was magnificent, and also the friendly ducks as the welcoming party!"

"What an idyllic retreat this hotel is. We stayed for three nights in Eiriksstova and it exceeded every expectation. It is the epitome of Faroese charm. The property is well appointed with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining area, washer and dryer. The view is spectacular (both the scenery and the hotel!), and there are two rocking chairs next to the picture window to enjoy the wonderful scenery! I would definitely return!"
"Nothing! I would move here permanently if I could!"
"I can not tell you how much we enjoyed our exceptional stay at The View! The charming cabin was both spacious yet quite cozy. The hosts clearly have an eye for detail and ensured everything was in place for their guests to enjoy a relaxing stay. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. If the weather happens to be a bit uncooperative one day, you'll be perfectly content relaxing inside the cabin. We loved the friendly ducks who came for daily visits. And the view...well it was almost surreal. Everything combined to make this stay quite dreamy. Would love to return and highly recommend The View to all!"
"Everything was great!"

"This was my second stay at The View. What a wonderful place! Thank you to our amazing hosts, Anita and Tróndur, for sharing this corner of Paradise. It will stay in our hearts forever."

"Such a lovely modern holiday house in a traditional style - the IKEA furnishings were balanced by the traditional style of other things like the window latches and beautiful wooden interior. The house was much warmer than we had expected, with hidden (underfloor?) heating. It was clean, tidy, well presented and in a great location. It was a really wonderful little place to stay, and suited us really well as a family of four. The duvets are warmer than you might think from the pictures which don't really show these well, and the house furnished well with mostly IKEA fittings which are great. We had everything we needed while there, and it was also lovely to find tea and coffee available, as well as the little things like dishwasher tablets and laundry accessories."
"There was nothing we didn't like about this lovely little holiday house. The driveway is rather steep and a tight turn on gravel, which meant parking was a little nerve-wracking on the edge of the hill, but nonetheless fine. No fault of the owners, but tourists keep stopping on the main road for pictures, and standing at the entrance of the driveway, so every time we drove in we had to beep them! A testament to the lovely views."
"Incredible view and a cozy quiet place. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. I live the sheep and ducks that came for visits"

"Loved sitting on our sheepskin-covered chairs in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water and drinking wine at sunset. Wonderful shower, comfy beds, the most adorable sheep and ducks who visited us every day! I wish we'd had more time to just hang out at the house; it's such an incredible setting. The little town of Sørvágur up the road is charming; be sure to stop in at Pollastova for some world-famous Faroese salmon and local art!"
"Our nav system had only an English keyboard so we were unable to enter the address and couldn't find the place (the turnoff is very easy to miss). As luck would have it we ran into the host in the little town of Bøur and she guided us to the house. Very steep driveway right on the water which was dangerous given the snowy/icy conditions, so we didn't use our rental car the entire time we were there, instead taking a pricey cab to Torshavn and back to check out the town. Some problems with the heat which the host was very helpful in addressing (although it's radiant floor heat so took some time to resolve). No sheets on the beds, minimal kitchen amenities, but the location couldn't be more idyllic!"

"L'autenticità della struttura, una vera e propria casa faroese all'antica. La completezza dei servizi (bagni, cucina...). La tranquillità della posizione, zona tranquilla anche se un po' isolata ma comunque vicina al villaggio di Skalavik. Molto autentico."

"Situated in quiet Runavík, a few hundred metres from the tunnel to go to Tórshavn, nice spacious room, very good pressure at the shower, excellent breakfast and extremely helpful staff, thank you very much for your hospitality and help (Annika and I don’t remember the name of the other lady). If we visit Faroe Islands again, we will definitely stay at Runavik hotel."

"The location on the water is gorgeous and it’s also a short walk into downtown. We didn’t have breakfast, but it looked like it was an amazing spread. It’s just not included in the price. There is also a little hot tub on the water that you can book and they will have ready for you."

"The property was a perfect fit for two families with 7 people. The kids get to have their own room, and the two families have separation of space, yet easy to get together via indoor access. It's also situated in a quiet neighborhood at a convenient location, close to downtown, restaurants, and attractions. The property also has good views outside the windows."
