"I am not sure I can express just how much we enjoyed our stay at Arara - it exceeded all expectations and was a gem of a place to call home for 2 nights during our visit to the Argonne Forest area. The outside seating areas are comfortable, welcoming and relaxing after a long day touring on our bikes. The hosts add the true flavor to this facility - they are well traveled and the decore reflects there interest in history. The main dining table welcomes great conversation and is topped off with delicious meals provided by the hosts. They also provide a variety of drinks you can add to your enjoyment - beers, wines, soft drinks etc. The room was another spectacular bonus to our stay at Arara - modern, clean, spacious, views. Arara is an unexpected luxury in this region of France. Go for the location, rooms, value but most of all for the hosts. We miss them already."

"Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Gastgeberehepaar. Top Frühstück. Das gemeinsame Abendessen mit den Gastgebern gibt einem die Möglichkeit sich besser kennen zu lernen und wertvolle Tips für Ausflüge zu bekommen. Ruhige Lage. Sehenswürdigkeiten von dort sehr gut zu erreichen."

"Gentillesse de l'hôtesse quoique ne parlant que peu français mais deux autres langues, l'anglais et le néérlandais avec lesquelles on s'est très bien dèbrouillées.Son grand fils a pu être présent à notre arrivée qui parle français Maison ancienne restaurée dans un.village plein d'histoire.La maison est emplie de très belles pièces diverses provenant du pays Deux belles et grandes chambres (il semblerait y en avoir une troisième) avec chacune un lit double trés confortable et salle de douche -sanitaires dans les deux chambres Accès directs à des promenades très belles mais aussi très intéressantes du point de vue historique (guerre 14/18) Petit déjeuner plus que copieux Un repas chaud peut être demandé à l'avance sauf le dimanche sinon (par ex ) un restaurant italien dans un.autre village avec un repas copieux et bon Parking privé à l'arrière"

"Het personeel laat je je echt welkom voelen in hun verblijf. ik was verrast door de inrichting van de (woonkamer) prachtig en netjes allemaal. en helemaal in de style van de WOI geschiedenis van de omgeving waar wij voor gekomen waren. ruime slaapkamer en badkamer. en alles zo netjes. ook het ontbijt was echt goed. lijken dingen op te gaan ? komen ze keurig op tijd vragen of ze nog wat aan kunnen vullen."
"ja weet je ik geef hier een 9 omdat ik geloof dat er altijd ruimte is voor verbetering. maar deze mensen hebben het echt voor elkaar en verdienen eigenlijk een 10. zou er direct weer boeken als ik in de buurt was. goed moet ik critisch zijn......een klein lepeltje extra bij ontbijt voor de gene die zijn ei leeg eet met een lepel. en de afscherming van de ramen op de badkamer naar buiten mag iets meer zijn.( maar er is maar 1 landweggetje ver weg van waar mensen mss inkijk kunnen hebben)"

"We went for the 24hr of Le Mans so the location was perfect. 5 min walk to the tram and then a no more than 15 min to the circuit. There is also a square with many shops. The host were perfect and very accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and well thought with several choices of jams, honey, different meat selections, different breads and fruit. Much better than a hotel. There is a backyard which makes it a better stay rather than sitting in a hotel when there."
