B&B La Difference

"The setting was absolutely beautiful and very private. The accommodations were really comfortable and spacious, and the kitchen had everything you could need. We especially loved the gardens and talking to the property owners. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine, some cheese and a baguette and looking at the gardens— the roses were in full bloom. (We were there in early June.) It’s clear the owners love meeting people and sharing their love of the area. Also, the wines of the Chinon region were excellent. Next time I need to remember to pack a bigger suitcase so I can bring back more wine. Two other things that we really appreciated: the owners spoke English very well and there was parking right in front. We had such an amazing time, we did not want to leave. Thank you Bruno! "The hotel is directly on the cycle path we were riding and was good value. Nothing fancy but plenty of room and helpful manager. The restaurant downstairs was also excellent, so if you need to stop in the area I would recommend."

"Great location. Steps away from the bus and two blocks to the Metro. Grocery store across the street. Bakery on one corner and café/ bar with happy hour on the other corner. Breakfast has hot croissants and bowls (baguette buns) with jam or French butter, juices and the like."

"Nice big space with an amazing terrace and great view. Location is pretty great - not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle but very much close enough. 10 mins walk from a small town/village square with everything you’ll need (baker - best croissant ever, fishmonger, supermarket, barber, wine merchant, cheese shop, butcher, Michelin-starred restaurant, cafe, bar, pharmacy). It’s also 20 mins walk the other way from the main town where the market and everything else is. Walk out the front of the property, you’re immediately on the sandy beach. Flat was well equipped as well - kitchen had all the basic cooking and dish ware with dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, fridge-freezer, bathroom had hairdryer and towels, available also were vacuum, washing machine, drying rack, extra blankets and pillows etc. Lady who greeted us was on time and lovely, explained everything clearly. Staff were responsive with queries."
