"B&B La Lyre was the best B&B I ever stayed. From the highway towards Angers, it was just a few kilometers inland, situated in a very quiet village. Stéphanie and Hubert were the perfect hosts. The room and bathroom were impeccable, the bed so comfortable, the surroundings absolutely quiet. And breakfast was beyond delicious, served in their own large kitchen. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. If you ever want to stay in a B&B, no matter how spoiled you are concerning hotels or B&Bs, this is the place to be."

"A wonderful country setting close to Gordes and other nearby towns. Upon arrival, we cracked a bottle of wine and enjoyed in the hosts garden before the rains descended. The breakfast was very good and served in our room."

"The breakfast dining room was one of the most beautiful settings we’ve ever encountered, full of interesting and well-selected antiques. Our hosts were relaxed and friendly, fluent in English as well as French and knowledgeable about the area. They cooked the best breakfasts we’ve enjoyed during a month in France, including eggs to order and galettes, with a nice selection of cheeses, breads and fruits. Our room was large with a very good bed and all of the necessary fittings, including an adequate number of well-located electrical outlets. My hearing aid broke during our stay, and the hosts connected me to a nearby audiologist who repaired it within just a few minutes."

"Great room directly outside of the old city. Less than 5 minute walk to be inside Carcassonne and you had a wonderful view of the towers and city wall from our room and the "front yard" of the hotel. The contactless check-in was perfect for us and meant our arrival was easy and hassle free."
