"Wonderful property full of history. Comfortable room with everything we needed. The hosts were absolutely amazing! They prepared a dinner last minute for my husband and I. We had been riding bikes all day and were to exhausted to go back into town."

"Quaint accommodations near the heart of the city. Hosts were very friendly and joined us for breakfast twice and gave us tips on places to visit in the area. A huge surprise was that the owners have a large cave on the property, and we were able to walk through it and envision how it will be used in the future as they develop it for additional purposes, such as a wine tasting room."

"Beaulieu La Source has wonderful character & is well located for easy access into Saumur. The host is friendly, gracious & helpful. The house is partly built into a cliff, & a very interesting feature is the series of caves behind it. I’d definitely recommend touring them. Breakfast was superb. We would be very happy to stay there again."

"Not so much a dislike, more an observation, but the access road is very narrow & needs care when driving, but this doesn’t detract from the property."

"The property was very homey and lovely. The breeze of cool air from the cave was so refreshing even though the weather was so hot outside around 38 degrees the time we went. We really had good nights of sleep. The couple running the Airbnb was so nice and friendly. They even dine with us and prepared a delicious dinner so don’t miss it. They both speak good English so that was really helpful all throughout our travel."

"The location was ideal, right next to the river which allowed us to take a beautiful drive along the Loire and only 5 minutes drive from the picturesque town of Saumur where there are many restaurants to go to for dinner. After spending a day visiting the Touraine region of the Loire, this was the perfect place to spend the night before moving on to visit Anjou. The hosts were very welcoming and even gave us a tour of the caves behind the building to see the naturals springs and wine making equipment. Breakfast was plentiful, the hosts were great company and they spoke english very well. Our room was lovely, spacious and very traditional for the area with the beams, rustic furniture and stone walls giving such great character to the place. It was easy to find the accommodation and the parking was just across the road with ample space. I dont have a bad word to say about this place and will be sure to stop here again on my next visit to this incredible part of France."
