"We absolutely loved our stay at Chalet Rubicon. The location in Les Houches is incredibly peaceful—just a three-minute walk to the bus stop into Chamonix and direct access to the TMB trail system. The property was spotless, beautifully designed, and full of natural light. The bathroom had a view of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi—seriously stunning. We especially appreciated the flexibility of the staff: after one night, we asked to extend and they let us stay in the same room. Maray, the breakfast host, was amazing—super warm, helpful, and made the whole experience feel even more welcoming. Booking a hot tub and sauna session was the perfect way to wind down after a long day."

"Owner is so friendly, hospitable. We arrived on Sunday when market was closed and needed something from pharmacy and poor she came to check on me. Very very clean facility. Very nice bathrooms and towels and soap. Beautiful view to mountains. In morning Marie made us breakfast and was so so nice and happy. Very hospitable. Beautiful lounge upstairs to hang out in. Beautiful chalet, exceptionally beautiful place."

"We loved staying in Les Houches close to two gondolas to begin TMB or day hikes, and 10 min walk into town center for tourist office and supermarket. Chalet has beautiful views, great breakfast, very nice helpful staff. Peaceful and pretty - perfect for us."
"No coffee machine in the room and the one in the dining room ran out of coffee beans frequently. When chalet is full, a bigger machine would be helpful. But that’s a minor issue really. No major complaints. We loved it there."

"Really nice apartment immersed in the nature, fruit and olive trees all around and access to a small river.. Very comfortable to fully relax and quite close to the beaches and ferry to go to the nearby island. The host, Isabelle, is very friendly and helpful with suggestions for nearby market and restaurants. The dogs are very welcome."

"The owner does not speak english but as a human we were able to communicate about everything important with no problems. The room was okay. Parking on the street in front of the house. Breakfast was amazing, only some vegetables was missing. Ideal stay for visiting Parc Bagatelle."
