"It is not about the room size or luxury. The room is only a placeholder for your bed, bathroom and phone charger. The glad doors open your room into the outside patio which is the natural extension of the room and it is the patio where your surrender most of the time when not sleeping"

"Delicious. Copious. Fresh. Everything from the beverages to the breads and pastries and jams was fantastic"

"The hotel was perfect - the indidual rooms are laid out on a little terrace which is lovely. Breakfast room was very cozy with a true provincial flare. Our room was elegant, super clean and the bed very comfortable. Great location in Moustier, just a short walk to the village. Wished we had stayed longer"
"Nothing. Would not change a thing"
"Very comfortable. Everything was lovely and of high quality. And the owner and staff were very nice and helpful."

"Charming place. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Great location for getting to the Verdon Natural Area and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie was a short (albeit uphill) walk from the hotel."
"Parking is a bit tight, but doable."

"Host was very nice. Room was very clean with a private patio. Place is peaceful. Sort of French rustic in a good way."
"For anyone with sensitivities to smells or detergents, the sheets were washed in a detergent with a strong smell. The only way I could sleep was with my cpap which filters air. My pajamas still smelled like it the next night in a different place. The accommodations are so pleasant I hate to mention but for anyone with chemical sensitivity, this could be an issue."

"Splendid place, clean and great family owned business. Plus for lunches an excellent restaurant. The room even has a bathtub. Fully equipped kitchen. Large balcony with splendid views."

"Très bel environnement Les hôtes sont très prévenants et très sympathiques. La roulotte est vraiment géniale, très bien équipée. Un vrai petit cocon. Endroit très calme en pleine ville, un très joli coin de verdure qui est très zen. Le parfait endroit pour se détendre. Je recommande vivement"
"Lovely garden, hot shower, fabulous breakfast - cold meats and cheese, as well as the usual. Dinner jars were tasty - we had the cassoulet and bœuf bourgignon - though could have been a bit bigger for hungry walkers."

"There is not just one thing that we liked about the relais and its hosts. It’s everything that is just perfect. It starts with the astonishing beauty of the relais. Also the warm welcome of the hosts made us feel home right away. Their helpfulness was fantastic. They spared no effort to help us solve a problem we encountered underway. Our stay was an amazing experience."

"I was really in need of a room with good AC which they were able to provide. The staff were especially helpful when it seemed my stay might have to be extended, and at a time when they had very little available (high season). I didn't need this in the end, but their support was immediate, reassuring and accommodating. Great people, great place."

"The staff was very friendly, the restaurant has good value. Easy to park and for free. Room had a good size and it seemed clean."
"We enjoyed our stay for the night. The staff was helpful and nice and they gave us a new room when we asked for help. OK, breakfast."
"The staff were very nice and helpful, they made a dinner recommendation and a reservation for us. It was convenient for our train trip just across the street. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The hotel is modest, nothing fancy, but it met our expectations and was a good value."

"Le Grau-du-Roi is a great little seaside town. We were there in Oct and had really great weather. Some attractions were closed so if that is your jam then Sept may be a better month for you. Lovely beach, lots of restaurants. Cute little fishing town. Everyone we met was very friendly. The hotel has a GREAT quiet location at one end of the beach left of the river. Enjoy drinks and food on the terrace right next to the beach. The staff are very welcoming. If you don’t speak French they are more than happy to converse in English. It’s just a short train ride out of Nîmes. Super low fare. Walk to hotel only 10-15 mins—if you have wheel-able luggage it’s an easy walk with no busy streets to traverse. Perfect place for a short trip to the coast."
