"The hosts Richard and Sophie were great. They were welcoming, and Richard shared the history of the house and took us out to meet their horses and showed their vineyards and gardens. The grounds are beautiful. The house and rooms are tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious. Rooms were spacious and they were cleaned every day. Bathroom fixtures were updated. Richard was also extremely helpful with sightseeing advice and making restaurant reservations."
"It is an older country estate, and so the Orangerie Suite's toilet location (private in suite) was separate from the rest of the new main bathroom. Also, the listing indicates TV, but there is no TV in the Orangerie Suite."
"Colivault is a gem. Our group of 4 friends, 2 couples, stayed in the 2 bedroom house which is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you need. The grounds are restful and welcoming; breakfast was delicious. Richard, the owner, assisted with reservations for nearby delicious restaurants and provided us with ideas for things to do/see in the area."

"I had dreamt of an elegant French experience and picked Colivault randomly. We were not disappointed, receiving a delightful, authentic, personal experience on every level. Everything was wonderful, in particular the effort our hosts afforded each aspect of our stay. There were unexpected treasures in every corner, I loved the sprawling gardens, outdoor seating spots, the secluded pool and the absolutely immaculate housekeeping, which was most unexpected."

"This place is truly beautiful and clean – a little piece of paradise. The room was very spacious, spotless, and well-organized. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. There's a lovely garden with trees, lawns, and a fun pool. But most importantly – the host, Richard, is absolutely wonderful. From the first moment we felt at home. He takes care of everything as if we were part of his own family. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come back in the future!"

The location was peaceful and perfectly placed for exploring. Just a few minutes drive was a supermarket which was super useful."
