"Excellent stay with Lars and Nirin in their chateau outside Oudon. The whole experience was impeccable with great conversation, beautiful views, and an excellent breakfast made by our hosts. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"The main selling point of this hotel is its location set right on the edge of the lake. We booked a double room with balcony overlooking the lake and were afforded stunning views. The weather during our visit was poor and so we were unable to do as much walking as we had planned, but the whole area is beautiful and well worth exploring if you get the opportunity. Due to the weather we decided to eat in the hotel that evening and to be honest we were glad that we did as the food was delicious and the service excellent. It was a set 3 course menu with a couple of options per course and we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was the same with plenty of choice available and excellent views over the lake from the dining room"

"The host lives nearby, which made communication easy. She was enthusiastic to speak French despite my limited speaking ability, which sadly has become less and less common. She is kind, and made us (and the kids) feel at ease."

"Kleines Häuschen in Strandnähe, mit allem ausgestattet um erholsame Ferien zu verbringen. Der Wohnbereich war ausreichend groß und hell, die Küche mit allen Elektrogeräten ausgestattet. Das Ferienhaus verfügte über zwei Schlafzimmer, eines mit französischem Doppelbett, da andere mit zwei Einzelbetten. Das Bad war mit Badewanne mit Duschgelegenheit und einem Waschbecken ausgestattet. Die Toilette war abgetrennt vom Bad in einem separaten Raum. Alles in allem war das Ferienhaus sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was den Aufenthalt angenehm machte. Das Geschirr und Besteck aus der Küche war zusammengewürfelt, was uns jedoch nicht aus machte. Direkt neben dem Haus mit direktem Zugang vom Haus befindet sich eine Garage, in der sich Gartenstühle, Liegen und Tische sowie ein Grill zur Benutzung befanden. Uns hat der Urlaub sehr gut gefallen."

"The host was at the apartment to greet us BEFORE we even arrived! She was exceptionally helpful, informative and pleasant! The apartment is extremely well located and was very well supplied with everything we needed. The large village is a short 5 minute walk away. The apartment was located so close to the train to Mer de Glace that we were on our way up to the glacier within a few hours of our arrival. We were also minutes from the cute alpine coaster which my family got a kick out of riding. Plus, it was a ground floor apartment, which is a pleasure!"
