"Locale and overall accommodations were great, a good value for me traveling off season. Very close to bus and tram routes for exploring and to/from airport (hint: you can cut through the gas station to get to the tram). Host very helpful and responded to all texts almost instantly, which was a good feeling. Property was super secure, requiring a fob for gate, entry door, elevator, and trash floor. Balcony was marvelous and the mechanized safety blinds were also blackout blinds, which is a good thing since one of the Primenade street lights are right in front of the unit. Even in off season and in rain(!) were always people walking, running, cycling in the Promenade. Felt very safe after dark."

Caroline and Jean’s genuine pride in their home shone through, and they were helpful even before our arrival, sharing local tips and offering to book a restaurant as we were due to arrive late. They also left us a basket of fresh bread and croissants on our first morning! The beautifully restored house blends Alsatian charm with modern comforts: spacious bedrooms, a bathroom for each room, a fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful essentials already stocked. Hippsheim is peaceful yet brilliantly placed for Strasbourg, Colmar, the wine‑route villages, and Europaparc (40 mins). We felt cared for every step of the way. Five stars and highly recommended."
