"The place was close to the Louvre Museum, less than 10min walk. Grocery store just around the corner, lots of good restaurants nearby, quiet street newly renovated and very clean. The building is old, so venting from the bathroom smelled, but this was true in other apartments in Europe and Asia we stayed at. Covering the vent in the shower with a garbage bag and closing the sink drain when not in use, made a big difference. The sofa was comfortable to sleep on if you’re under 6’ tall (it’s not a pull out sofa, more like a futon but enough space for 2). Skip the elevator, it’s basically a coffin on cables that forgets how to open half the time. The place is on the 4th floor but my legs would argue it was 10th. The WiFi info in the manual was wrong but the host was very responsive. Access to the buses/metro was good. Kitchen stocked enough to do basic cooking. I would definitely stay there again, just for the thrill of that elevator!"
"Amazing location - a great base to explore Paris and Disneyland. The house cat was great ... he would wait at the door to meet us if we'd been out all day! Loved the modern touches - the fancy CCTV security system, and it's the first time I've seen a Japanese style bidet toilet apart from my own - as soon as I saw it, I knew it was the right house for us! Layout of the big master-bedroom in the front was superb, very creative use of space!"
