"The location of Les Oliviers was perfect for my purpose, which was exploring, by car, the Touraine countryside away from the larger towns. The hamlet of Veigne has immediate access to both the A roads and the more scenic D roads. Additionally, the property has an expansive outdoor covered patio and well-manicured yard that led me to spend as much time outdoors as indoors. The host - Brigitte - has provisioned a complete kitchen with all manner of cooking utensils and vessels making nightly meal preparation a snap. I like the layout with the kitchen, eating and sitting areas on the ground floor and the sleeping and bathroom in the loft above. The staircase was no problem for me. Lastly, the property is well-decorated in a cool summertime motif which creates a pleasant feeling (unlike some properties that have blank walls and feel sterile). Oh yeah, the host is a "cuisineuse" who brought me apple tart and tomato paté ... say no more."

"Almost perfect. Being Aussies with no French, instruction books etc were only in French. Instructions for TV use & heater use in English would have been helpful as well. No property number out the front or written information prior to arrival made us uneasy. A map of how to walk to property from train would help as not all travellers have International GPS coverage. Great location though. Lovely unit."

"Francoise and Thierry were the kindest hosts! Francoise has a delicious breakfast for us every morning in the quaint dining area. The room was large and the bed was so comfortable. I would like to say that we had a rental car issue during our stay leaving us stranded, and the kindness they showed us was so amazing. Thierry even helped me speak to enterprise in french after hours and hours of no resolution. I am so grateful. We absolutely loved our stay here."
