"The villa was fabulous, spotlessly clean and everything provided to make our short stay perfect. Unfortunately the weather was not hot 3nough to use the pool but we did manage to use the outdoor furniture and bbq which was a high quality webber gas one. Both bathrooms were very smart and beds extremely comfortable. Xavier gave a lovely welcome and explained everything. A lovely walk down through the park to the shops and restaurants. Great to have a secure parking place too."

"Our apartment was perfect! We are very well-traveled couple who avoid hotels. This apartment was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, a full bath and shower, and clothes washer, a view of Chinon Fortress, in the heart of medieval Chinon near truly wondrous restaurants and a short walk to Chinon Fortress itself. The owner was always available via WhatsApp to answer every question I had. Chinon is at the heart of the Loire Valley for visiting several beautiful chateaux."

"We got very clear instructions from the host. The flat was well kitted out as everything was supplied including frozen food , basic ingredients for preparing food, tea bags ,water in d fridge, cream etc . It was in an ideal location - a short walking distance from friends who we were visiting in Livry- Gargan."

"Our host Muriel was so lovely. We stayed in the rooms within her home with our children in a separate room down the hall to us. Muriel's home is absolutely beautiful and we were made to feel so welcome. Breakfast was very nice freshly squeezed juice, chocolate milk for the children, breads and pastries, with my family declaring the croissants the best they've ever had! As other reviews have mentioned, the main bathroom is downstairs, this was not an issue for us. There was an upstairs toilet for night time. Perfectly located for getting to Basel which is about half an hour away, and free, off-road parking. The most beautiful surroundings, sorry we couldn't stay longer!"
