"we liked the old fashioned french charm of the hostellerie with all the knick-knacks and the beautiful old furniture. the historical background is clearly visible, adjacent to the town gate. the beds were comfortable, the breakfast is sumptuous and well prepared."

"Petit point négatif : le prix du petit déjeuner. Pour 13e je m'attendais à avoir plus de choix ( ex : du granola pour aller avec le fromage blanc, des œufs..) Également, les viennoiseries n'était pas très bonne, je pense que le boulanger a du les faire trop cuire ce jour là... Le positif est que les aliments proposés était frais/artisanal"

"We had such a memorable stay at Grand Hôtel De L'Europe during our anniversary trip. From the moment we arrived, the experience already felt special. We had mentioned that we were really looking forward to making the most of our time in Paris—and the hotel truly delivered. Our room had the most incredible view. We could see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and Sacré-Cœur all from our window. It honestly felt surreal. Even when it rained, we didn’t mind staying in because the view alone made everything feel cozy and magical. Being able to explore Paris during the day and then come back to enjoy the city lights from our room at night was something we’ll never forget. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the location was perfect—right next to Gare de l’Est, which made getting around the city so convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again."
"A lot, a nice older house well maintained, 5 minutes walk to the busy centre, large comfortable room with a canopied bed and big tub. The host gave us 2 beers when we asked and didn’t charge us - which was kind. Breakfast was modest but nicely presented. We left my husband’s jacket there and she held it until we could back that way a few days later . Very good communication on that front which was appreciated. Room was a very good value for what we paid. Good bicycle parking in the garage."
