"We were so shocked to walk into this beautiful hotel. I booked a room for my family of 4. It turned out to be 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Decor was beautiful, the hotel was beautiful. We felt special being to stay k. Such a beautiful place while in Bayeux."

"The location is terrific and the property has ample parking in the back of the building (partially covered). Eva, who welcomed us at the reception, was super nice, friendly and efficient. The room was clean as was the bathroom. All the amenities that we needed were there. The continental breakfast, for a nominal fee, was outstanding. Several cheeses, 3 kinds of meat, vegetables, baguette, coffee, juice, croissants, pain au chocolat and many other items were available for guests' enjoyment. The breakfast was served in a beautiful setting overlooking the back yard. We also made friends with their dog Gloria (very friendly and quiet). The face to face staff were terrific and the location was perfect. Highly recommend for the value."
"The room was on the second floor so we had to manage quite a few steps. May not be suitable for other guests. Also, be aware that if you're staying more than one night, the cleaning staff will come into your room even though you may not want/need anything (there is no "Do Not Disturb") sign to hang on the door. In our case, the staff left our window open and when we returned to the room in the evening, it was quite cold. With the old school radiators as the heat source, it took awhile for the room to warm up."
