"The hotel is quite basic (as we expected) but has been recently refurbished and is very clean. The breakfast was excellent for the price. Good location close to the motorway, on the edge of an industrial park with other hotels and lots of restaurants within a couple of minutes drive."

"I needed a place for a short stay near the bus and train stations. This hotel was perfect for that. Next, staff was welcoming, bedsheets were great, there was a bit of an ocean view across the industrial part of the harbor. Room was quiet."

"This hotel is in a great lively and safe neighborhood. The room was very clean, comfortable and worked well for three people. The room was very quiet and very clean and housekeeping provided everything we needed. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. We greatly appreciated the smoke-free property. The metro is very nearby which made for convenient travel all throughout the city and beyond."

"Beautiful, grand old hotel in the heart of Mont-Dore, perfectly located for walking around downtown. The breakfast was outstanding—eggs, pastries, hot oats, and more (French eggs really are superior!). Our room was lovely, with a full bed and a twin, ideal since I tend to twitch at night. Just note there’s no lift/elevator, which may matter for some travelers."
"From the outside (front side) the hotel does not look very promising, but the inner courtyard is absolutely excellent. The building is old, yet everything inside is beautifully renovated and very well maintained. Everything was clean and tidy; the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Great bathroom layout — I really appreciated that the toilet is in a separate room, not combined with the bathroom. Very friendly, helpful staff with excellent English. Excellent value for money: EUR 60 per night for a double room in France. Good option for travellers by car: there are plenty of parking spaces. Despite being close to the motorway, the hotel was very quiet and peaceful."
