"Guy and Eleanor are exceptional hosts. We had dinner with them and despite the language barrier we had a lovely time. We learned so much about the local cuisine. We loved meeting the dog and cats since we were missing our own. They provided water which was much appreciated. Lots of good advice on where to go and what to see as well. Oh, and breakfast was amazing too! We left well fed and well rested. ❣️"

"The location is surprising - an oasis of calm and green on the outskirts of a light industrial area, a part of the old town perhaps? It was a very pleasant surprise, very spacious, the house is full of interesting things. It was a pity we were only there for a night as it would be a good base from which to explore the area. We really liked it. A really great breakfast (included in the room cost) with bread & croissants fresh from the boulangerie too."
