Guest reviews for L'Aleandra
"The host is super nice and welcoming and she prepared a really good breakfast!"
"The wifi is pretty slow but since we had our own internet it didn’t bother us at all."
"Denise was a charming and helpful host, and made us feel very much at home. The breakfast included many of her home made foods (jam, fruit juice, verveine tea) which kept us going all morning. We managed by using the local bus to Menton as we were travelling by train, but a car would be an advantage, given that there was nothing open at Castellar village. The views from our room were lovely, and we enjoyed evening picnics by the pool."
"Things that are out of Denise’s control, such as more frequent buses and a bar/restaurant in the village."
"We spent 11nights at L'Aleandra,Denise our hostess was exceptional,Her breakfasts were delicious and the facilities were spotless, great shower and balcony, handy private parking,Bus to Menton just outside of property, marvelous views of sea and Mountains and a very calm place away from the hustle and bustle of the coast,There are 2 hiking trails from the village with breathtaking views. We had an amazing, relaxing stay at L 'Aleandra,Thank you Denise for taking such good care of us you are truly the hostess with the mostess 😁"

"Denise, our host was most welcoming. Free parking was ideal and there was a bus stop very close by. The pool was lovely to cool off in. Breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious."
"Wifi was not strong, although our host did her best to provide it for us. The road to the accommodation is narrow and winding so you need to take it easy."
"We loved everything about L’Aleandra! The exceptional host who was so friendly and helpful, the delicious breakfasts, the easy parking, super comfortable bed, the amazing views and of course the beautiful gardens and pool!"

"If à pont to mention; it’s the distance from the highway, some 10 km up narrow mountain roads. Late and dark nights might be stressful for seniors."

"Best service I have had from a host. Good location and good price. Shower was big and same with kitchen and apartment."
"The location was wonderful, overlooking a forest made into a Parc. Breakfast was delicious and varied with foods my husband, who is allergic to sugar, could eat. The hosts were very friendly and gave recommendations, even though our French and their English were limited. Everything was immaculate, quiet, relaxing, and cleverly decorated with details like real slate dividers between the patios looking to the forest. We would like to return."

"Lovely hotel, great breakfast and very good restaurant."
"Fantastic site - think the cabins are a bit older but was very clean and beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was clean and we had a great swim. It was just a 10 minute walk into the village with an old castle. Good walks for dogs. We don’t eat in the restaurant but the food smelt fantastic!"
