"We passed through l’Asphodèle for one night on our pilgrimage from the French-Italian border to Arles on the Via Domitia/Chemin St-Jacques. Christophe is a fabulous, welcoming host, and we really enjoyed the delicious vegetarian meals he prepared. The place itself is even more beautiful than we imagined, the perfect combination of comfortable and rustic, with a gorgeous, peaceful mountain setting. Christophe also speaks excellent English, which was a big help to the non-French-speakers in our party. Highly recommended all around, and a highlight of our trip!"

The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for unwinding, surrounded by nature and silence, an ideal place to escape to. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of care — you can truly taste the love in the cooking. This is one of those special places that combines genuine hospitality, great food, and total tranquility. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it."
