L'Atelier

"L' Atelier is a beautifully decorated apartment that is perfectly located in Bayeux. It is an easy walk in any direction to get to the town's many restaurants and sites of interest (the Bayeux cathedral, for example, is a 3 minute walk away.) Phillipe is a great host. He delivers fresh breakfast each day. The apartment is cleaned and re-stocked daily as well. And having free secure parking right outside the door is great to have."

"While we did not have a problem, the narrow spiral staircase that leads from the living room to the upper floor bedroom could be a challenge for anyone who has mobility issues"

"The apartment was immaculate and well appointed. Or host, Philippe, was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely. The location was a pleasant walk to our tour pick up location. Our stay will remain a fond memory."

"Everything! The rooms - the bedroom especially. All very comfortable, the decor , delicious breakfast. Lovely garden . And Phillippe was so charming."

"I wish I had booked this place for longer! I really could have used more time exploring Bayeux. This was a large, immaculate, two floor apartment, tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed. I also liked that the host had a dog, a Schnauzer, who was friendly and affectionate."

"I was confused by the way the door locks worked since it also involved moving the door handle up or down as well as twisting the key. It took me several attempts to get the door locked/unlocked and be able to remove the key. Instructions with pictures would be useful to those of us who don't have experience with this type of lock. Suggestion: the window in the toilet could use a window glass film, a privacy shade, blinds, curtain, or something similar. While it faces the courtyard and is behind bushes so that one would really have to make an effort to peer in, the fact that one can peer in is disconcerting. Something to obscure the window would make it feel more private."

"Phillipe was a fantastic host. He took care of our every need. The breakfast was excellent every morning and the living quarters were more than we anticipated. I would highly recommend this facility. The town of Bayeux is a gem!"

"L'Atelier was a great place to stay in Bayuex! It was very spacious...we have stayed in Villas that were smaller. Everything was brand new and immaculate. The breakfast was great and more than we expected. We had a private and secure place to park our car. We were steps from the Cathedral, Tapestry museum and restaurants. Our host, was very nice and attentive! We highly recommend L'Atelier!!"

"Phillipe is a very gracious host! The location in Bayeux was perfect! L'Atelier was incredibly clean! Breakfast was amazing! I can not recommend L'Atelier highly enough! 11 out of 10! By the way, did I mention that L'Atelier was clean? It was spotless!"
