"Great location, nice size room, well-equipped, clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Coffee, even though a machine, was drinkable. Very clis, easy walk to restaurants, port, and shopping of all kinds. Beautiful park nearby."

"The staff are so pleasant and efficient. Our room was lovely. It was large - the bed so comfortable! The room was spotless. The hotel is beautiful. We had no problem parking the car in the parking lot. We were so close to old town La Rochelle. We could not ask for a better place to stay."

"This is a beautiful hotel, which is located about a block from a nice shopping area during the daytime, and about a 12 to 15 minute walk to the port area. From the outside, the hotel looks plain, but when you open the door, you find yourself in a beautiful lobby. Our room was spacious and very nicely decorated. The breakfast was well done and served in the garden or the salon. I would stay here again."

"Lovely staff, warm and welcoming for us and our dog. Comfortable bed, air conditioning with a view to the front of the hotel. The garden was a little oasis and despite the rain, our stay was ideal. Easy walk into restaurants and bars. Parking can be tricky on the street so we opted for Verdun carpark. Take ticket and pay on exit. It’s all covered by camera. Would return to the hotel very happily. Thank you"

"Lighting in the bathroom a little low, but it’s not a deal breaker. A coffee machine would have been a welcome addition."

"I liked the welcome for my children and myself. I like the atmosphere of the hotel at a whole. The room we chose was huge. I was sleeping on a pull out couch, but it felt as good as a regular bed. I loved the choices of breakfast."
