"Claire & Olivier were just superb hosts. They are such a great team together and made every moment very special. A home away from home, we loved Claire’s cooking which was delicious, all fresh and locally produced. The wines they have on offer were superb. Nothing was too much for the wonderful couple to help us with, including local advice, restaurant recommendations and even providing a midnight feast for us one evening when we got back late. We loved staying at Le chirol, we miss the wonderful property, very comfortable rooms and beautiful swimming pool, but most of all we already miss our new friends Claire & Olivier. They are an amazing team and we would all love to come back and stay with them again! 5*****"

"Le super petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. Le calme du gîte. La superbe piscine. La qualité du mobilier aussi bien intérieur qu'extérieur. La proximité de Bergerac (à peine 15 minutes en voiture) et de nombreux sites touristiques. La proximité du vignoble et les dégustations possibles."

"The apartment was conviently located and very well equipped."
"Richard (property manager) was very accommodating and available, access was easy. Exactly as described and shown in the photos. We travel light (one small bag each) so tight stairs easy to navigate. It gave us separation of space so one could sleep and the other could read, eat and make coffee. We were a 5 minute walk to the Metro and RER (regional train) that made travel in, around and out of Paris easy. The neighborhood was very enjoyable and one of the reasons we chose this flat: to be among Parisians. Local merchants were friendly and offered breads, cheeses, butchery, wines, etc. Recommend Kalank as an enjoyable dinner restaurant (5 minute walk), also the Thai restaurant across the street. Sat in the cafe/bar outside our entrance and enjoyed wine as we “people watched” along the boulevard."

"The location was very convenient for visiting the sites in Caen. It was an easy walk from the train station (about a mile). The view from the apartment was very nice and the apartment was very comfortable."
"Gîte très bien situé et très calme: proche du centre et des restaurants. Déco originale, avec beaucoup de charme. N'oublions pas la place de parking privé devant le gîte. Très bon conseils de Damien qui connaît bien la région et les bonnes adresses. L'endroit est idéal pour découvrir la région. Merci pour l'accueil vraiment sympathique, avec un petit pot de confiture maison."

"The peachfull quiet. The hosts David & Dorothee was the nicest, most helpfull. We had the best time there. One hour from Bordouex we enjoyed the city as well as the quiet county side. The place had everything you could need. Fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, living room with a fireplace. The place was superb! We only hope to come back again."
