"Fantastic property. wonderfully kind owners. I stayed in the top floor and was super comfortable. The best breakfast I’ve had on the GR 65 I would recommend this to anybody. The owners are very comfortable with using Google Translate. We had a wonderful conversation using Google Translate over dinner."

"The hosts, Roland and Evelyn, were wonderful. They were very warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed our conversations so much over dinner and next morning during breakfast we were sorry to leave. It felt like visiting friends at their beautiful home and sharing nice wine and a good meal."

"Our stay was brief but thoroughly enjoyable. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming, the property is beautiful and our room was spacious and very comfortable. We had breakfast with Evelyne and Roland and had a great mixed language conversation over a lovely breakfast. I could not recommend Le Couvent enough."

"Tremendous visit. Large, modern rooms/suites built into rustic stone farm buildings. Lovely, well tended grounds and gardens nestled into farm country. Breakfast was excellent with many homemade delights (croissants, Briton bread, fruit preserves, and yogurt). Our hosts were lovely, serving as tour guides who enthusiastically directed us the places of greatest interest to us. Can't say enough about this memorable experience."

"Peaceful and comfortable spot for cycling exploration of the Mouzon and Meuse valleys, though I would also stop here if I were driving nearby and needed an easy place to sleep. Corinne showed extraordinary hospitality by making a breakfast timing exception of 630AM so that I could start cycling early, and when a dense fog made it dangerous for me to cycle on the highway, she woke up her husband to drive me and my bike 10 km down the road to a safer location. The shower was hot and the breakfast exceeded expectations."

"Le logement est très bien situé car on peut aussi bien aller à pied au bord de la mer qu'au supermarché (3 min) qui est ouvert toute l'année. Literie de bonne qualité, logement conforme à l'annonce. La personne qui nous a remis les clés était très ponctuelle, agréable et nous a donné de bons conseils pour visiter la région. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances et nous le recommandons."

The rooms were comfortable and quirky, filled with fascinating antiques. The breakfast was delicious with lots of homemade produce. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back."
