"It overlooks the gorgeous town of Colmar. It was cozy with a lot of amenities, like full kitchen, washer & dryer, & it was decorated cutely. The host, Nicolas, was very kind & helpful."

"The stairs were a bit of a climb, especially with suitcases. I should have left my large suitcase in the car. It was difficult to find, being directly over a restaurant. The parking was an issue at first, but once we found a lot we were comfortably parked for 3 days."

"Charming, character, privacy, well located yet calm because higher up, confortable bed, not ce shower (in the bedroom) enchanting city views/vignettes of Colmar from the little windows. Very nice and responsive owner."

"The last set of staircases is very steep. Almost a Japanese staircase. Did not bother us, it added to the charm of this eagle nest and we are used to boats and Japanese staircases, yet not for everyone"

"From the moment we booked our stay, the communication was excellent and welcoming. Every detail of Le Loft was beautiful and well appointed. The Loft was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, the kitchen was thoroughly stocked with everything needed for cooking and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect and right at the center of so many restaurants and shops. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend."

"If you have bad knees or limited mobility, the final staircase to the loft is very narrow and the stairs treads were shallow."

The building's facade is beautiful, and the interior is spacious and stylish, with great attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a good night’s sleep. Everything we needed was provided, making it feel like home."

"Excellent location, immediate & friendly communication, clean, good shower, kitchen, etc., very easy to get to from train station. We walked directly out of the village to Riquewihr & found the ‘Google trails route’ to be without complications or traffic. A lovely walk in countryside/vineyards, about 8 miles hike there. We went on to Ribeauvillé, not far, & then took a bus back to Colmar."

"There is a steep staircase after the entry into the apartment that takes you up to the actual general living/sleeping area. We pack very light in our travels…I suppose if you have heavy luggage it could be a bit of irritation. The quality of the apartment overrides this scenario in our opinion. The host is superior, communicative, & friendly."

"The Loft could not be more centrally located in Colmar. Nicolas, our host, made sure we had all info we needed for our stay and followed up to make sure we were happy. The apartment is at the top of the building and has been renovated to a very high standard!"

"The internal stairs to the apartment are very steep and narrow. The design was constrained by the shape of the building, but for people who are less agile they could be a challenge."

"The location is outstanding - right in the heart of Colmar. We loved looking out of the windows across the old rooves. It's also fabulously well appointed - the kitchen has everything you need, the little seating area lounge is cozy and the bed is so comfortable. We absolutely loved it. Couldn't fault it at all."

"It's perfect - but it is a loft so there are a few stairs. Not for those with mobility challenges."
