"A wonderful old world chateau stay. The owner was so accommodating and provided us with an unforgettable dinner and got up incredibly early to provide us with breakfast at 06.30. This sort of personal service nowadays is extremely rare."

"This charming little castle was a real highlight for an overnight stay during our journey. Parking was very easy and convenient. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast: tasty, well-prepared, and more than enough. The peaceful surroundings ensured an excellent night’s sleep. Our dog was immediately welcome and could walk around on the grounds with ease. If we’re ever passing through again, we would definitely stay here once more. Small tip: bring some cash if you’d like to have dinner at the castle - it makes things easier. Although payment by bank transfer is also possible."

"It’s relatively close to the autoroute towards Limoges & the Dordogne but you cannot hear a thing and it really feels like it’s in deepest rural France. The dark sky & stars at night were unbelievable! The current owners are the 5th generation so don’t expect a grand luxury chateau renovated at vast expense - this is still a genuine family home, full of mementos and nic-nacks."

"This wonderful property is ideally situated near the motorway. This historic house is set in beautiful parkland and offers overnight accommodation suitable for couples and families. Swimming in the pool at 7.30 am on a beautiful July morning was perfect. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. A perfect location for an overnight stay and also for exploring the region. The table d’hote dinner was excellent value."

"Beautiful and charming little village!! Plenty of restaurants available and a good bakery (2 min walk from the house). The lake is a short drive away. We visited the cities Chambéry and Annency, both under 50 min drive away from Chanaz. Both cities are spectacular, so nice and charming. The views of the mountains and the lake are also breathtaking. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. A nice terrace to have breakfast or read a book, a well equipped kitchen, everything was very clean."

"The accomodation is well situated within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants. There is also a nearby supermarket. We were able to park the hire car on the road outside. The decor is modern, wi-fi excellent. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are large and comfortable.The owner is easily accessible.by message and responds quickly.."

"Very clean and spacious two-bedroom apartment close to the city center, within a short driving distance. The apartment was in a quiet residential neighborhood. It had all of the necessities that we needed for a few days. The rooms were tastefully decorated. We had a car, and all the places that we wanted to go were within easy reach."
