"The location and view were breath-taking. The house was as it's name suggests...truly majestic! We enjoyed piecing together the house's rich history through the few pieces of artwork in public areas and the locals' who were familiar with its history. The gardens of the house were beautiful and conducive to absolute tranquility and a great atmosphere for Work From Anywhere. The apartment was just a two minute walk from downtown Chamonix center... which was really nice, away but not far. The kitchen was well equipped and the sofa bed was very helpful and the quilts were fluffy and warm. The washing machine was a God send. The apartment which was located in the grand building/house also felt safe with the in-built security of the house."
