"The location and the accommodation itself suited me perfectly well -- as I was to catch a ferry to England very early the next morning."
"The door key refused to turn -- which made me panic as I was heading out to catch the ferry to England. But it finally opened and I was on my way. Probably the lock mechanism needs some lubricating."

"The location was a nice surprise, close to restaurants and beach. The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was very clean and had a nice view. I was pleasantly surprised as a mom traveling with 2 teenagers it was a nice area and I would stay here again. I felt safe and there were great amenities close by. The hotel is close to the ferry (5 min straight walk) and the food in the hotel was lovely, I recommend their omelette and moules frites!"
"Sadly the bathroom door didn't shut or lock so with 3 people it was a bit awkward but that was my only complaint and hopefully they can fix this."
"The staff provided help for my special request. The room was cozy and functional. It was a short walking distance to the ferry to Portsmouth. It's along a bike trail that goes past the D-day beaches. Good value for what you get. A decent restaurant is attached, and a Tabac."

"Very friendly staff! Nice restaurant, very flexibel. Good food! Rooms are not small (as booking says). They are spacious, with high ceilings. Bathroom is older, but it you like vintage, it will be excellent for you. We loved this place. All is very clean. Dog friendly."
