"The location was beautiful with driving access to wonderful beaches (the Mediterranean was warm and we swam every day, even though it was October) and lovely valleys with agriculture, mountain views and many great small restaurants if one wasn't eating at the hotel restaurant which was excellent! The peacefulness of the place with cuckoos and crickets at night was unparalleled. The hosts/staff were perfect and guests we met were wonderful."
