"Very comfortable, private setting in the village. Breakfast was perfect, served in the garden, a peaceful start to the day. The garden offered nice outside spaces to enjoy an evening conversation and for a dip in the pool. The village is small, very quiet, and well located as a base for day trips in the area. Hosts were most helpful and very kind. Good recommendations of villages to explore and spots of interest."

"Very comfortable and quiet. Access to farming roads made for some wonderful walks throughout the battlefield, memorials, and cemeteries. Also, nearby Albert, Peronne, and Bapaume provided cafes and markets for shopping and groceries. Most of all, Diane was a super host and scholar of the Great War. The quietude of a small village and fresh country air make this a cozy property and one that will be our go-to for future Somme visits!"

"This tends to be a hotel for workers in the area, so early to bed, which means quiet and a great nights sleep. Breakfast is bread/jam with a pan au chocolat, juice n coffee. Evening meals are simply superb, Nicholas must have a great chef. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality supplied. I stayed in room 9 for 5 nights, rooms are basic but everything you need and clean n tidy. Thoroughly recommend."

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, auch wenn der Kontakt nicht persönlich war. Man merkt die Liebe zum Detail – sogar kleine Willkommensgeschenke haben auf uns gewartet.
