"Our usual property was fully booked, we booked this one instead so glad we did , beautiful surroundings and the gite was so well stocked , our teenagers especially loved all the little touches , hope you enjoy the chocolates"

"A wonderful overnight location for travelling to/from Calais. Very peaceful, but close to the major routes. The garden was lovely and we spent some time out there enjoying the weather! The accomdation was clean, well provisioned and it felt very comfortable. We only stayed a night, but could easily stay for longer."
"The window shutters in the bedrooms are heavy and awkard to maneuver. One of our guests was an older female who was unable to close it by themselves, I had to assist. They really need to be on wheels or in someway improved to make them easier to move. There were no fans in the property, during hot weather it would be nice to see. There was also no iron or ironing board, I wanted to iron a shirt to go out for dinner. I'm sure the host would have provided one had I asked, but it wasn't an issue."

"The house is very nice, comfortable, clean and had everything you need. Two bedrooms with comfy bed upstairs. Small garden was great for dogs. Great owner, ready to help at any time. Location in a quiet, nice district and with easy access to Calais. For us BIG plus - it is pet-friendly accommodation and our dogs were more than welcomed."

"Our second stay, with the third already planned. A cosy home from home, ideally located close to the Eurotunnel but in a peaceful, quiet location. The house is immaculate, clean, warm and comfortable and the hosts were excellent - great communication."

"I loved the warm welcome, as well as the lovely interior and the secure rear garden - which was perfect for my dog to decompress after a long journey (as she's epileptic and quite reactive) I also loved the oven - which was really quiet and effective. We will be back!!"
"The only thing that didn't work for us was all the air fresheners and incense sticks. But I either removed the battery or moved them to the spare bedroom and opened the windows to get fresh air in. These artificial scents are not good for my epileptic dog. But it was a minor point."
