"Definitely eat dinner beforehand or be prepared to drive a bit for takeaway, La Vespière is kind of a hole."
"Very easy check in, very comfortable bed, pets welcome. Could do with a kettle but otherwise it was perfect for our needs"
"Could do with a kettle and a fridge as it's a great place to stay as an overnight stop"
"Large onsite cat park, staff were lovely, no coffee facilities in room, but they had a coffee machine and microwave in near reception, so was handy if just 1 night and passing through. Shop walking distance."

"The immediate proximity to the Chapel of Apparitions and Basilic of Sacred Heart. The breakfast was vey honorable."
Dunes Hotel de la Basilique
"The area is gorgeous, with natural reserves, long empty (stone or sand) beaches, seadogs, cliffs, forests, hiking paths... We liked also visiting villages like Mers-les-Bains, Saint-Valery-sur-Somme et Le Tréport. In Cayeux-sur-Mer there's a really good bakery, nice closed market (3 days/ week) and bars (L'Embuscade near the market, and two at the beach). Madame Vacances was perfect to visit all this. Really friendly staff and nice well-equipped tiny apartment at the beach front. We couldn't make use of the swimming pool (because under renovations most week), but in any case it's tiny and best for children. We asked for the WiFi code for the rooms because the free WiFi at the lounge didn't connect well and this was perfect for us (as we had to work a bit during the week)."
"The location is nice and clean, nearby the lake and the forest. Very quit. A lot of activities for children, enough to be busy for few days. Free indoors swimming pool, quite modern and clean. The house booked for 4 had towels and linens only for 2 persons, but we were prepared and had our own linens and towels for other guests. Also nice to have dishwasher capsules and paper towels. Property provides soap, dry shampoo, one sponge, one trash bag and one dishwasher capsule, salt, pepper. Kitchen appliance, cleaning equipment, drying rack for clothes were in order. Heating works even during the summer season. Parking is very close to the house."
"The small hotel is run by a lovely French couple who put a lot of effort into offering a great, friendly service and maintaining everything. Our room was small but cute (little details in the interior design that made a difference), the breakfast area inside as well as outside the main building was nice and the food and drink options were really good (only hotel that offered oat milk during our two-week trip in France!), also good quality of food. The hotel is super close to the beach and within walking distance to the restaurants. We felt really welcomed here and would definitely recommend the place!"
"Convenient location next to airport and town, private parking though it tends to get full by night Great roof top terrace to lay down and relax Sufficient breakfast The presence of the pool"

"Friendly, relaxed, good communications, clean, price value good, Monday evening dinner “plancher” opportunity excellent"
"The staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming. The restaurant was also a welcome and delicious surprise!"
"I began and finished my bike tour in Toulouse and stayed at Hôtel de Brienne. It is a short walk from the Compans stop of the airport shuttle. The hotel has a very good and secure area for storing bicycles and a bike stand (and plenty of room to spread out) for help building and disassembling a bike. They have a bike wash station as well. They are able to store a bike bag (though this may be for a small fee). Illiana was very helpful, as was Fabienne who graciously pushed back my checkout time when the airline misplaced my bike for a day and I was left scrambling. I would definitely stay there again on a future tour."

"Loved the location, both hotel (16th century and brimming with character) and town (quiet at night, easy access to Mont St. Michel, and also brimming with old charm), and the staff was quite attentive and answered my many questions in English, whether about the hotel, town, or Mont St Michel."
