"Breakfast was as expected in a French establishment and though decaffeinated coffee was not available a chicory alternative was offered. That proved satisfactory. Croissants were fresh and fruit juice locally produced and tasty. Alternatives were available.The whole ambience was friendly… lovely to meet family and doggie!. The room was comfortable ."
"To be ‘picky’ I would have liked a set of drawers or somewhere in the room, ( there was enough space), to put tops or jumpers as we were staying for almost a week. The only hanging space was near the door, so not enough room for other ‘stuff’."

"Booking double booked our original reservation and we had nowhere to go in Amiens. We found this property and Nico was SUPERB, he made special arrangements to get us the key so we could get in early since we were adrift in the city. He didn't have to do that and it was very appreciated. The apartment is airy and spacious, two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms (one shower, one tub). Beds are very comfortable, fast secure Wi-Fi. Kitchen is outfitted with everything we needed. Nico left a few coffees and teas which was a nice touch. There is a Carrefour City market right up the street, about a 5 minute walk max so it was perfect. The property is about 1.2 miles from the train station and downtown Chartres, which was a really nice walk through a French neighborhood, which was relaxing. When we left we decided to Uber to the train station, but there is also a bus you can catch to go back and forth from town."
