"Beatifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed in a historic building. Lovely continental breakfast. Fabienne was a great host. We had the opportunity to explore the abbey and extensive grounds in relative solitude."
"Our accomodation was tricky to locate; basically you have to enter the abbey as if you were visiting. This place is stunning architecturally and historically but would not be suitable accomodation for everyone because the abbey and its surroundings are undergoing renovation; although the accomodation is beautiful, other parts are a work in progress and externally the accomodation is relatively unlit in the evening so returning after a meal in the village requires a bit of care."
"What an exceptional establishment to stay in. An Abbot's Palace ffs. With a considerate and informative hostess. Also access to the garden and it's environs. Not 'conventionally' luxurious but everything that's required. Breakfast and coffee outside in the courtyard (large - remember this is an Abbot's Palace we're talking about here) just adds to the uniqueness. Then a tour around the accessable 14th century enormous chapel, with surreal animalistic/religious artwork. Truly accessable as the rooms were last occupied by retired nuns. Ramps on pretty much every threshold. And on-site produced Close de l'Abbaye Organic wine available in the office. Our stay was truly Heaven on Earth."

"Le côté exceptionnel du lieu, l’histoire et le côté atypique… une vraie expérience unique. La chambre est spacieuse, avec une salle de bain propre et fonctionnelle. Fabienne nous a bien conseillé sur les caves à visiter et nous a fait un petit cours d’histoire de ce lieu chargé d’histoire."

"Tout, l’appartement et tout son équipement. Le confort des lits est indiscutable. L’emplacement plein centre ville permet de disposer de toutes les commodités; bus gratuit, Monoprix, Zara, Normal, pharmacies… À 3 minutes de la place Jean Bart. Nous nous réjouissons de revenir."

"Le logement est tout simplement incroyable. Il est spacieux, bien agencé et parfaitement adapté aux grands groupes de 30 personnes et aux événements style Team-building. Mention honorable à l’hôte qui a été disponible et extrêmement réactif pendant tout notre séjour, en plus d’être très sympathique et chaleureux! Nous retenons l’impressionnante salle de sport, le jacuzzi, le sauna et le hammam qui combinés ont su combler l’ensemble de notre groupe. Nous recommandons très fortement ce logement!"

Les hôtes sont disponibles, charmants tout en étant suffisamment discrets pour qu'on se soit senti chez nous, chez eux. La proximité de superbes plages nous a conquis. A recommander vivement."

"Very comfortable beds and furniture Liked the washer and dryer. Furnished well for cooking. Due to the tiny shower I don't think this apartment would work for more than 4 adults but it would be good for a family. Great location. Easy access."
