"View. The place is located on the side of one of the hills and you have a fantastic panorama of the city, and can even watch the planes on the airport and ships on the ocean. It has a pool if you want and the facilities were great. And you can walk down the mountain via some paved paths to the city if you want exercise and/or find some local places to eat or shop. Or simply drive around the town. We really enjoyed the our stay. And if you need anything, the owner is just up the stairs. If you want a great place for the value, I recommend the property, and if you can I would recommend staying for a longer time and use it as a home base while you explore the region."

"Has a washer, which did not work when we were there. And I will never understand why a dryer is not on site -- which seems to be a 'Europe thing'. Also, remember, the road is narrow to get there, and one-lane. But the parking was perfect. Finally, I did not understand the way they numbered the properties. I could find the right street from the owner's instructions easy enough, but had a little trouble finding the place. So, here's the clue -- you part in Space 4, and then walk up and around the corner and find the house numbered 4. Duhh. Easy enough and now it's clear. Maybe I missed that in the instructions she gave us."

"Amazing host!! We accidentally had walked up from the train station the first day with two suitcases completely tiring ourselves out. She helped us get up the stairs with our luggage and even offered us a ride early the next morning, which we took her up on, and she was super nice and easygoing. Absolutely beautiful view of the area as well. Super recommended!!!"

But we knew it when we booked. We specifically chose this because we want to have a relax and quiet vacation."

"For very little cost the owner could make this accommodation amazing. These suggestions are for her benefit and based on our experience of over 130 bookings on Booking.com. First, there are some basics that we have found most properties provide. They include adequate toilet paper - half a roll for a three night stay is not enough. Most places provide enough coffee capsules to last the time of stay. Two really is not enough for two people over three nights. Finally, if there is a dish washer it is in the interest of the owner if they want clean dishes to provide tablets. One tablet is not enough for three nights. In place like Greece and Italy they really make guests feel welcome with gifts of wine and many other "goodies". We felt that the owner wanted us to get settled as quickly as possible so she could get on with her life. Although she said to ask if we needed anything she seemed to find it a burden when we did. For instance, we were told that most people went and bought these basics. Her dog (the place is named after the dog) is very important to her but to chastise a guest because she suspected a gate was left open is not the way to go. After that we were reluctant to ask for anything - like the toaster that was advertised but we could not find. I hope she takes these suggestions in good faith as she has a nice place. But it could be outstanding with a little care and maintenance."

"Comfortable, spacious apartment off the Grande Corniche with a fabulous view over Nice. Felt very luxurious to have our own swimming pool! Friendly host who came to assist in getting the car into its spot. Tip - as you drive down Chemin du Mont Gros the entry road to 43 goes up on the right hand (wall) side. It is out of Nice so if you want to be in Nice every day/night it might not suit, but as we were halfway in a month long trip it suited us perfectly - a chance to relax in our own space and enjoy a few home cooked meals. Also able to drive to EZE /Monaco around the top without going down into Nice.There is also a very pleasant restaurant La Casa du Giada in walking distance, up the hill (mountain) on the left hand side near the two sets of traffic lights."

"everything was as good as one can get. spacious flat with all the appliances one needs and the terrasse / view is just amazing. it is worth the climb and being a bit far from the centre. the city can however easily be reached within 30 minutes (15 minutes walk + 15 minutes tram) very friendly and helpful host. parking place is definitely welcome."
