"This property was very clean. The living area was comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed; however we would have appreciated a toaster. The radiant floor heating works very well. The window shades provide good privacy. The building is secure. The towel warmer works double duty as a bathroom heater. The shower water pressure was good, and the temperature was as well. The location was close enough to the Christmas markets to easily walk. A Monoprix is close by. Restaurant Sahmeran is close by, and has very good food & service. Overall, we were happy with this property, either one huge exception (see below)."

"This property immediately gets two points off for the bed: it is a one bedroom apartment without a proper bed! There is a Murphy bed which is marginally comfortable. At the end, there is about 12 inches between the sharp edges of the frame and a piano. Really?? A piano in the bedroom?? We think the owner has nowhere else to store it, so it is stuck there, making the bedroom cramped and uncomfortable. Multiple others have commented about the piano, but no one had stated that there is a Murphy bed - this is not a real bed! It is a shame that that tarnishes this property. For this reason, we would not stay there again."

"Chantal's apartment, within 7 minutes walking distance from the picturesque old town, was delightful. It was spotlessly clean, and it had everything one needs in an apartment if you are planning to cook (which we did). There is even a salad spinner (this is a mark of a complete kitchen to me). The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was large and had an adjustable towel warming rack, which heated the whole space. We asked Chantal by text for recommendations, and she got back to us with answers right away. The suggestions were spot on. NB: There is one thing to know in advance if you are coming with a car. We had rented a car about the same size as a Toyota Prius, maybe slightly larger, and parking it in the assigned space in the underground lot was a challenge. It is not meant for anything SUV sized (which, to me, is fine because you don't need an SUV in most of Europe, or, well, in the US, either). This apartment was a great find."

"Big spacious apartment. Very clean. Everything you would need for a stay - kitchen, full size refrigerator, washer. Very well located near the center of Colmar."

"The parking spot is tight. Get a very small car if you can. However, if you are uncomfortable with the tight spot, Chantal can give you recommendations for a free lot which is 10 minutes walking or a 3 euro a night lot which is 5 minute walking."

"Had a wonderful stay at this apartment for 6 nights. It is a very generous size for two people and had everything you could need to cook whatever meals you wanted, a great sized bathroom and a washing machine, dishwasher etc. as well as a nice supply of coffee pods and dishwashing tablets. Is super well located just a short walk in to the old city of Colmar and its location is easy to drive in and out of to do day trips. Check in and out was very easy and communication was great. Overall the perfect place to stay in Colmar"
