Vaintan B&B

"Everything was very nice at Vaintain B&B. It is about 30-40 minutes drive from Mont Saint-Michel. You have to have a car to reach this place at a reasonable time. Plenty of parking in the front yard. Ms Vaintan is very knowledgeable about the locale and is very helpful. I was there during the warm days in July. I had to keep the windows open to cool the room. If global warming continues at this rate, the top floor rooms will soon need AC in the warm months."

"It is not very close to Mont Saint-Michel. But the drive is pleasant and you get some nice views of the Abbey on the way."

"We arrived late, but the host kindly waited for us and prepared a delicious evening tea. She was very welcoming and let us have dinner in the cozy living room by the fireplace — a man occasionally came in to add wood to the fire, which made it feel even warmer and more homely. In the morning, we were delighted by a homemade breakfast with fresh fruits, baked pudding, and jams made by the host herself. She speaks excellent English and is a wonderful conversationalist!"

"Amazing place, it's located in a quiet picturesque village, has a garden and nice view. Host is very friendly and accommodating, we had a warm welcome. House is full of lovely rustic decorations, very cozy. Bed was surprisingly comfortable, good mattress."

"First time in B&B and we loved it. The land that the building is stated is wonderful with a beautiful view to the sea and to the back yard. The room was an attic with a nice view and very clean. The hostess is a great lady, very polite and eager to help. The breakfast was served in a cosy room and included coffee or tea, fresh boiled eggs, various homemade jams and cakes, fruits and yoghurt. We would love to go again."

"I would love to have some closets and drawers in the room and one size bigger bed with softer or better mattress."
