"I did not have the breakfast, or bar, but the community space was really charming with a fridge, stovetop, etc. The night time workers were extremely friendly. The bedding was surprisingly comfortable and the whole bedroom/ bathroom felt very clean."

"Nothing I didn't like honestly. There were 4 people in my room, two of them went to sleep around 10:30pm and the other one at around 2am. So the lights were on until 2am which was not ideal but I am a deep sleeper so I didn't mind."

"Excellent front desk and housekeeping staff, very hygienic facilities and a great mix of younger and older fellow guests. Fantastic location near the port, grocery stores cafes and restaurants. Very comfortable beds and spacious dorm rooms."

"No really big deal but on the night of 3/14/26 I had an online meeting so I need to use the common lounge but the front desk overnight receptionist was playing music loudly so I asked him to lower the volume. He rolled his eyes and begrudgingly complied. The next morning I asked him for a piece of scrap paper and he told me to wait. I waited a few minutes but it seemed like he did not want to take a second to give it to me. A few minutes later I heard him raise his voice at another guest in a dismissive tone. I got the feeling that this particular receptionist thought the guests were there to serve him but instead of him being there to serve us."

"Excellent location. While the male staff members were all friendly and helpful, it was the female check in staff that was truly wonderful and really took care of all the women staying at the hostel. She always asked if we wanted to be with other girls and made sure to put us in a room together, ensuring our safety. The rooms were good too and the attached showers and toilets were a real convenience."

"The woman who sold me €1.50 bottomless coffee tersely informed me that the machine had closed seven minutes before just after she had taken the money. I was still able to get a cappuccino which was brewed with sugar already included which is obviously disgusting. Because of this unpleasant experience I did not purchase their breakfast on any of the following days of my stay."
