"We loved our stay in this spacious, exquisitely decorated in a historic building with an incomparable view looking down on downtown Blois on one side and the beautiful Blois cathedral located right on the other side. This couple make the ultimate hosts - warmly welcoming us, helping us with a dinner reservation, and enabling us to make the most of exploring the medieval town during our short stay. We loved it so much, we only wish we had stayed longer!"

"L'Amiral was such a fun stop for us. Wonderful friendly host in a wonderfully-friendly town. Mid-way on our Montargis-to-Briare canal-side bike ride, it was perfect for us. Host was so busy serving delicious breakfast to us and many other bicycle travelers. Secure bike storage. Rooms up narrow twisting stairs above the taverh, but plenty of quiet and comfort. One of our most favorite memories of bike-tour France! One woman tour-de-force!"
