"I lucked out and found an underground parking spot upon arrival. The room was nice and the bed was massive King which was very comfortable. HVAC control was excellent also. Staff were friendly also."

"The room was spotless and provided everything I needed, especially the fantastic tea and coffee setup. I was happy to see the gym was also well-stocked with modern equipment. Arriving by car was hassle-free, thanks to the convenient hotel car park leading straight to reception, where I received a warm welcome. Overall, the hotel lived up to my expectations."

"Very disappointed in the bar on the 5th floor. I followed my friend up he had ordered a drink we waited 20 minutes for staff to come out of the back room to serve us. When she came out he customer service skills were not the greatest. Came back for a drink same miserable staff so got a glass of ice as we had a bottle of wine in the room."

"Stayed in Room 3. The room was nice and clean, water, Yorkshire Tea, coffee sachets provided. Bathroom is small but adequate and miniature Toiletries were provided The bed was comfortable and I slept well and didn't hear any noise from the local hospital.or other guests. it talkes around 20 minutes walk from Train Station or you can catch a few buses on York Hospital Route"

"Staying in a 500 year old inn that was the home of a famous revolutionary was a fascinating experience. It was by far the oldest room I've ever slept in and I wondered at length as to who had been born, and died in that space. It is next door to Yorkminster, the ancient cathedral of York and a great location all around. The food for both breakfast and dinner was delicious and staff were friendly and efficient. Be prepared for uneven floors and doorways that aren't square, but if to want that, stay in a newer hotel. We loved every minute. Great bar too!"
