"The property had a wonderful staff who were kind and helpful thoughout our stay. The property was in a alright location with a large car park. The building was cosy and comfortable as well as feeling clean in every room. The quality of amenities was good with a comfortable amount of complimentary items with good a comfortable bathroom and a wonderful breakfast room."

"I visited Ayr to retrace my childhood holiday memories and pay tribute to my late parents. Burnside took me back to traditional guest houses with high ceilings and armchairs. It's a lovely place, very warm and welcoming. I had a great stay, and would highly recommend."

Nothing without nit picking, for which I have no time. Burnside provided me with a convenient, very comfortable and highly recommended experience.

"This was a good location for us, we wanted to be near St Andrews, but not in St Andrews. Beautiful views at the golf club, the weather was kind to us and we enjoyed some beautiful sunsets. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and informative about the local area. We explored the bay around St Andrews (Creil and Elie), stunning. We ate in the club restaurant both nights, and had really good food, and very generous portions. Would definately stay here again."

"Location was excellent, Winston (Attendant) was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed close to Christmas, and there was very little staff, but Winston went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable."
