"Great location near public transport. Budget double room was fine, not much room to move but didn’t spend my time there! All the staff we super friendly and I took advantage of the laundry service e too which was great"

"Stairs up to the rooms, there were approx 30 stairs per floor and when you’re located on the 3rd floor this is a lot - especially when the lift shuts off at 10pm. Not enough bathrooms so constantly waiting at peak times."

"Avenue Hostel exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, in the heart of the city. The atmosphere of the hostel is lively, social, and very welcoming. It’s a great place whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, as it’s easy to meet new people and feel at home. A special shoutout to Yasmine from the staff—she was absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The room was clean and comfortable, and the common areas were well-maintained and perfect for relaxing or socializing. Overall, I highly recommend Avenue Hostel to anyone visiting Budapest. Great vibe, great location, and truly wonderful staff—especially Yasmine!"

The kitchen was okay, and there were not many options for breakfast, but considering how cheap it was, I didn’t mind. I would say good value for money."
