"Great location, beautiful park around the property. They offered me a room in the castle so I don't know what the villa is like inside. I got a big spacious room. The spa is small but has some options, I'm not big on spa so it was enough for me. Food was simple but delicious. Will definitely be my new place to go when I need some rest :)"

"This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. It is well worth the 4 stars. Situated in the middle of its own beautifully landscaped park. There are indoor and outdoor pools, a great log sauna (both low temperature aromatic and high temperature Finnish style). We found both the breakfast and buffet dinner excellent. Unlike many hotels, the room can be almost completely darkened with the thick curtains."

"The drying of swimsuits and towels is a bit tricky (the latter are kindly provided in addition to the standard set of hotel towels)."

"We visited during the low season, so we were moved to the castle. We can't speak of the rooms in the mansion, but the rooms in the castle were great, with an old-time feel, as is right for a castle. Everything was clean, the food was good and the spa was not too busy. I would come again."

"There's little to see in the direct area, so we drove to Balaton. Only one receptionist really spoke English; with the rest, we got by with basic German/Russian. If you are staying at the mansion, you have to walk to the pools in the castle, which is fine in the summer but it would be a bit cold in the winter"

"Although I originally booked Kúria next to Batthyány Castle Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the transfer to Batthyány Castle itself. The Batthyány Castle Hotel has beautiful, park-like grounds, creating a relaxing environment. The hotel is a beautifully renovated castle, with carefully chosen furniture, wallpaper, and lamps that blend historical charm with modern comfort. The wellness area features a small pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, with standout outdoor log saunas—aroma, himalayan salt, and finnish. The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating, always meeting our requests with a smile. Our heartfelt thanks to the chef and kitchen staff for their exceptional culinary skills; the food was very delicious with diverse breakfast and dinner options. We truly enjoyed our stay!"

"One of the bathroom light bulbs burned out late in the evening, so we had to use the room light for the bathroom. Since it was late, we didn't want to bother, we informed the reception in the morning, and it was fixed within minutes. It wasn’t a major issue and not the hotel’s fault."
