Guest reviews for Rainbow hostel

"Plenty of parking and just a short walk to Dingle! Accommodations were very clean and comfortable! Our stay was brief but if you are staying for a few days the common areas such as the kitchen is well set up and convenient!"

"The rooms are not very sound proof but regardless it was quiet at night."

Esilaghi - 02/09/2025 22:03:23

"I wouldn’t ask for more. Awesome place, experience."

"all it was perfect."

Kira - 14/08/2025 14:54:14

"Lovely, quiet, well -operated hostel and camping ground about 25 minute walk (3 minute drive) from the center of Dingle. The hostess is very nice and helpful, and I had very positive interactions with everyone else that works there too. Highly recommended if you're ok with being a little away from the center of town."

"Aucun."

"Meeting different people ave being able to walk into Dingle from the hostel"

"It was all good"

Rita - 15/07/2025 01:34:28

"The room was very cute, the location was good just a little far away from the Main Street, which helped us to save some money. Super easy check in."

"We hated the showers, you must keep pressing the bottom to turn on the water every 30 seconds or so. If it was like 5 minutes it’s understandable, but less than a minute it’s very irritating."

Shaelyn - 27/06/2025 10:22:11

"Great kitchen facilities, nice area outside to sit around and chill, Philip working there is amazing so friendly and helpful"

"Push shower but to be expected with a hostel facility"

"The hostel is lovely, about a 1.5 km walk from town centre, so it’s relatively quiet and away from the crowds. I booked a solo room, but will say that the dorms are small and don’t sleep that many people, so probably would’ve been alright with a dorm bed. Plenty of really nice camping spots here too. Staff and owner are great, and it’s the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed at."

"nothing."

"Stayed in the hostel for two days on a walking trip of the Dingle Peninsula. Beautiful location and easy walk to Dingle. Facilities are basic, but comfortable. Room slept three, but I was the only one staying in it. Great communal kitchen well equipped for most cooking needs - if I were to stay there again, I would cook a meal instead of getting instant stuff. Cast iron stove in kitchen area made it cozy. Also, they did my laundry, which was great but expensive."

"Shower facility is pretty rustic. Getting laundry done was great, but the guy charged me 10 euros for one load."

"The rural location, the kitchen, the roof windows,"

"The noise travels from room to room, there were noisy travellers late at night. Poor sound proofing."

Chelsea - 11/09/2024 21:12:28

"Friendly staff, everything with the room was as expected."

"Aucun."

"Lovely area, close to a river walk and around 10 minutes walk to the centre of Buncrana. Lidl and Aldi are a 2-minute drive away. The apartment had everything we needed. Very cosy and clean. The host had kindly left us wheaten bread and some milk. A lovely lady ❤️"

"Good location, lidl and Aldi directly infront of property. Easy excess to town."

"Everything! The Nest is beautifully decorated, spotless and located in a quiet area. Loads of privacy. The host, Eleanor left a welcome basket of food for us which we really appreciated. There was also games for the children to play. Location is great, it was a 2/3 minute spin to the centre of everything. Bedding was so comfortable. The bath was an added luxury. Everything was perfect! Thank you Eleanor!"

"Location, very spacious, nice touches like milk in the fridge People of youghal extremely nice and friendly. Close to beach, close to shops, close to amazing attractions like the clock tower, town walls, St. Mary's Church and grave yard. Youghal is full of History."

"The cottage is so clean and beautiful. Bright and fresh and lots of light in the day and cosy and lovely at night. It is built on beautiful grounds, a stunning garden. The hosts are so kind and lovely and interesting. They gave loads of tips on what to do and where to go. Duncannon beach is a two minute drive away and you can drive right up onto the beach. Dollar Bay which is a 5 minute drive is stunning and a must see. You can get the ferry from Ballyhack to Waterford in about 5 minutes. I fell in love with Duncannon and all its surroundings. I was v sad to leave it all and would go back in a heart beat. Thanks so much to Robert and Mary for being such kind and special hosts."

"The house was spotless on arrival, very cosy and the fire was an added bonus. The house is very well equipped with lots of extra bonuses not found in other houses. The location was amazing watching the cruise ships going by from the window was an absolute favourite...walking distance to the beach...we enjoyed our time staying in Findale and will definitely be back..."
