"Very warm welcome by the owner, he also helped us book the next hotel in Munnar and arranged a discount for us. The room is simple but sufficient, and clean. The balcony was really lovely - watching the birds and monkeys in the trees was just amazing. I also appreciated the location- it's on a more quite road but close to the national park. Kumily/Thekkady is not very big - 10 min walking will give you a lot of restaurants and little shop options! Also ask for the cooking class with Remesh, it was a delight!"

"The rooms were very comfortable and also nicely decorated with antiquey furniture and art with themes of the location. Rooms were also quiet large and the two different rooms we stayed in both had lovely outdoor space to sit as well as windows with screens that open to let in air. There is also a library with lots of books about the history and wildlife (among other topics) and another patio to sit and read. I also much appreciated the yoga room! The staff were 100%, excellent attention We liked the rewilding philosophy of the resort and steps toward sustainability We much appreciated the French press to make our own coffee too as we typically like it stronger than normally served"
