"Very warm welcome by the owner, he also helped us book the next hotel in Munnar and arranged a discount for us. The room is simple but sufficient, and clean. The balcony was really lovely - watching the birds and monkeys in the trees was just amazing. I also appreciated the location- it's on a more quite road but close to the national park. Kumily/Thekkady is not very big - 10 min walking will give you a lot of restaurants and little shop options! Also ask for the cooking class with Remesh, it was a delight!"

"On a positive note, the hotel’s location in Kumily is convenient — close to the marketplace, Kadathanadan Kalari & Navarasa Kathakali Centre, and the Periyar National Park ticket office, which is a big advantage. My rooms were garden-facing, providing a peaceful view. Both the owner Mr. Suresh Sir and his son were quite enthusiastic, talkative, and very helpful. Whenever I contacted them before my trip, both provided me all the necessary information without any hesitation. On my request, Suresh Sir even booked the Kathakali and Kalaripayattu show tickets for us, which was a kind gesture and much appreciated."

"Everything was great and they were very helpful. I've travelled all over India and although this isn't the most expensive place I've stayed in, by significant measure it was the nicest. It makes me want to come back to Vizag for it. I will say that if you want to do a load of laundry, search for "tumble dry" in Google and find a place that will wash a load in a machine and it's much cheaper and faster."
