"The location is very quiet on a farm. Occasional tractor or horse noises. You can see the Westmann Islands and hear the ocean. Very little light pollution and a good spot for viewing the northern lights."

"We really liked the property. The access is not through another property but is independent of the house where the hosts live, and the facilities were really clean and modern with all necessary kitchen appliances, enough tableware and the beds were very comfortable. All in all a top stay! Key is easy to access as the key box is right next to the door and the area in front of the property had comfortable garden furniture to enjoy a quite evening and rest your feet after a hard day of "touristing"."

They sent us detail directions as how to get to the apartment. That was extremely helpful. The host quickly came over to show us how to turn on the stove when we called for help."

"Iceland is new to us so without spending a lot of time planning an itinerary for a destination we are totally unfamiliar with, a compact camper van makes a lot more sense because it provides a lot of flexibility while the overall cost is comparable if not lower than rental of a car plus hotel. Our previous tour of Newfoundland was in a SUV and the compact camper van experience is definitely better."

"This place was amazing! It was larger than we expected - bigger bedrooms and beds - lots of room to move around and unpack. And the dining room table was huge - we played cards after returning each night. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need - and there was coffee, filters, tea. The property was magical with the church in the back, sheep all around (we never saw their horses). We loved hearing the history of the property from Svanhilda, she was absolutely delightful to talk to. We would definitely stay here again."
