"The hotel is relatively close to the train station. Good directions were given in advance to walk to the hotel. Breakfast was very good. It mostly consisted of croissants and cakes, but adequate meat and cheese were also available. The staff was very nice. On our last morning, it started to rain as we were leaving for the train station and we were very kindly offered a ride so we wouldn't get wet."

"Hotel Deco is a charming, boutique style hotel in a quiet, green suburban setting about 10 minutes’ drive from the city’s historic center. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable; mine had a large balcony with a table and two chairs. Breakfast is excellent: a buffet of fruit, yogurt and pastries is supplemented by made-to-order espresso/cappuccino, scrambled eggs, sliced yellow cheese, and ham cold cuts. Service is warm, helpful and unpretentious. I recommend the Deco Hotel without reservation and will stay there the next time I visit Perugia."
"The only slight drawback for me is that the bus to the historic center of Perugia, where I attended my meetings, are slow and infrequent. A taxi is about 20 euros in each direction. A good workaround is to share the taxi with a friend and split the cost."
