"The location was perfect and the staff were so friendly. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and taken care of, to top it off sometimes they bring family dinner at night and it truly is AMAZING. The owner was also very helpful with any extra booking like my trip to wadi rum through them. Seriously couldn’t of had a better experience"

"Staying at this hostel in Petra was one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The rooftop has an incredible view over the mountains, and watching the sunset from there felt magical. The people I met were kind and open-minded — it really felt like a family atmosphere. Thank you and I will miss you guys!"

"Rafeki Hostel is a true gem in Petra! The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with local tips and travel advice. The hostel is spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located — close to Petra’s entrance yet quiet enough to relax after exploring. The atmosphere is friendly and social, with great communal areas and a beautiful rooftop where you can enjoy amazing sunset views. lunch box was fresh and tasty every morning, and everything felt well cared for. Rafeki Hostel combines the comfort of a hotel with the heart of a home — I couldn’t recommend it more!"

"I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Wadi Musa! The location is perfect — right in the center, close to all the restaurants and shops, which made everything super convenient and affordable. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff really make you feel at home. The reception was always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything I needed. A special mention goes to Twaissi, who went above and beyond during my stay — always caring, listening, and making sure everything was perfect. He truly made the experience even better."

"Everything you could want in a hostel! Rafiki is clean, safe, and has a fantastic location. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the social atmosphere makes it easy to meet people. "Ten minutes walk from Petra main entrance. Perfect view especially during sunset. Very rich breakfast, so you won't be hungry when going out. Pool at ground floor and comfy terrace with the view to city and Petra."

"Planned to stay for one night but kept extending because of the experience. The owner, staff and volunteers are all fantastic people and help make you feel at home. The space itself is amazing - the pool is a great area to release and sunbathe, the main floor has a couch with a TV and several tables for dining, and the covered rooftop is a perfect place to relax and watch the best sunsets in Wadi Musa. 10/10 experience - highly recommend (and this is coming from someone who never leaves reviews)!"

"Everything. The host was exceptional and his hospitality incredible, he couldn't do enough for us. The room is huge with a small balcony on one side and the whole roof top on the other. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

"I liked the location. It was very close to all the tourist sites. Khaled's wife is an incredible cook. It is quiet and peaceful, but also fun and exciting. Khaled knows people to recommend for tours and has good advice about visiting Petra. I absolutely recommend this place to all tourists. You will be safe and enjoy your time."
