"I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely guest house for four days in September. Take-san was incredibly pleasant and courteous, always ready to assist whenever I needed help—even offering a convenient airport shuttle. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, and the entire property was clean and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in and would gladly stay here again."

"I spent 4 nights in Take-san’s house, it was a truly amazing stay. Take-san’s warmth and hospitality is unmatched. He drove me in and out of the airport and showed us some great idyllic spots closeby, even helped me book an e-bike for a day trip. He has a selection of Amami Shochu that we can try, and the house is laid out in a way that people connect in a central large living room around a large table. The amenities are all great, beds, kitchen, equipped shower and toilets, laundry, … The outside garden has beautiful stars at night! The guests were all great and respectful, we shared many stories together and hung out all day. I’m so glad we got to meet, thank you Take-san for the memorable stay! ☺️"

"I enjoyed my stay in Sunrise homestay as the place was clean and comfortable. The host was also very hospitable and generous. There were snacks and shoju on the house! I witnessed the most beautiful sunrise here. We celebrated his birthday with other roommates during my stay. Looking forward to come back here again!"

"The location had a lot of beautiful spots around it and sitting down with Take-San in the evening while trying out all types of Amami Shochu was a lot of fun."

"The owner runs the place alone, but he still went all the way to the airport to pick me up. Despite my very limited Japanese ability, we were able to communicate quite well.. But the most important thing was he helped me rent a small scooter that I surely would not be able to rent without a local person vouching for me. This made my Amami trip really unforgettable and I'm forever grateful for the help I have received here! Also the evening of tasting local shōchū and stargazing was amazing. I will be back!"

"The location is close to the subway and JR train, an near a supermarket. We stayed for 5 nights and someone came to clean the bathrooms and living room area mid-way through our stay which was fantastic. But best of all, the owner Mamo-san was exceptional. My brother’s baby who was traveling with us assisted them to the clinic and even finding medicine. Even after we checked out and found we left something, he was willing to have it shipped to us. He went above and beyond. I was going to give a perfect score just for the place itself but if i could give more for the service, I would!"

"Great location near beach and Okinoerabu Thalasso, a public heated saltwater pool. I came by ferry and was very grateful I was picked up and dropped off by a staff member. Without a car, I don’t know how else I could’ve managed it. The breakfasts were superb. Washers and dryers were available on premises for a reasonable fee. There are a couple restaurants on the property, check carefully for opening days and hours. There’s a well stocked drugstore/grocery a block away if you arrive on a day the restaurants aren’t open."
"本当に快適に過ごせました。 2歳の子供と大人５人で行ったのですが、 家が広々して子供も走り回って楽しんでくれてました リビングではYouTubeなどが見れるので、 それを見たり、追いかけっこしたり楽しかったです キッチンもあるので料理もできるし、 洗濯乾燥機もついてるので夜洗って朝には完了してたので何不自由なく過ごせました 夜は屋上があるので星を見たりジャグジーを楽しんだり最高の時間を過ごせました また行きたいです"

"Unable to find building as no English sign on. No heat throughout in Tokyo temperature of 10 C. Telephone provided was not available in Tokyo. Email link was invalid to be used. Unable to look for help except the owner was able to send me warning on how and when to check out that room. No washing machine as shown on advertisement was found. I have to cancel my booking in 2 weeks with them"
