"Excellent hostel, with clean and comfortable dorms and a large lounge area to relax in. There is also a very nice kitchen if needed. The hostel is run by a friendly family, who speak good English, are knowledgeable about the local area and always willing to help. An added bonus is there is a well-equipped sauna available on request."

"Family run hostel in which the owners make you feel welcome since the first minute. We set Karakol as your starting point to go hiking and ended up planning our adventure through the hostel. Adil, the tour guide is super friendly and speaks really good English. Either you just want to explore the city or “use it” as a hiking starting point, this is the hostel to stay!"

"I had a comfortable stay and despite arriving late at night, the family waited for me and welcomed me nicely. The room is spacious and very comfortable though a bit old but it’s fine. The owner is really nice. She’s a very kind lady and helpful. I really had a great time talking to her :)"
